The Illinois Prairie Community Foundation has announced recipients of their Spring Grants Program.  The United Way of Logan County is pleased to have been chosen as the recipient of a $2,000 grant to support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Logan County.  Currently, 760 preschoolers are receiving a free book for month across Logan County.  This program promotes reading together, and fosters a love of books, learning and reading in participating children.  A higher level of readiness for school is a result of reading together and introducing children to books at a young age.  It's never too early.  This program is administered by the United Way of Logan County and is supported by generous grants such as this one, and individual donations. The Illinois Prairie Community Foundation has been a strong supporter of this program since it's inception in Logan County 2020.

This spring, over $226,000 was distributed to non-profit organizations to support programs across Central Illinois, including Logan County. Illinois Prairie Community Foundation connects generosity to local impact by stewarding resources, cultivating partnerships and fostering equity across our region.  IPCF empowers individuals, families and organizations to create meaningful change - today and for generations to come.  The foundation manages funds including endowments and agency, designated, donor advised, field of interest, scholarship and unrestricted funds.
