WHO WE ARE

The United Way of Logan County has been working for good for 60 years in our community.  Financial support from the community - individuals, businesses and civic groups - allows United Way to partner with 13 programs that serve our county's youth, seniors, and those with financial or health challenges.  Coming together, we can improve the health, education and financial stability of the residents of our county, and build a stronger community.  LIVE UNITED.

Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Thanks to a grant from the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation, and generous supporters, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library is now available to children in the Hartsburg Emden School District, the cities of New Holland, Middletown and Elkhart in Logan County.

According to the U.S. Census, it is estimated that around 18% of the population of Logan County, Illinois is age 65 or older.  Programs that enhance the lives of seniors are of great benefit to the community.
