Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois - Senior Transportation Program

One of the community services provided by the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois is the Logan Mason Public Transportation Program, which provides transportation to promote independence for all residents of Logan and Mason counties, including seniors. A donation of $2.50 per ride is suggested for seniors who use this service, but it is not required.  In 2016 ridership for senior in Logan County was over 6,600, and projections are that in 2017 over 7,200 rides will be given.  Funding from the United Way of Logan County goes to this program to help with overall costs to continue to provide this service to seniors who need transportation to appointments, shopping or social gatherings, allowing them to remain independent.
